Instead, you’ll be engaging in functional breathing practices to profoundly heal and regulate your nervous system and cognitive exercises to support the rewriting of the neural pathways in your brain that keep you stuck in anxious thoughts and the result is major shifts mentally, physically and emotionally in a short period of time.

Functional breathwork is designed to powerfully and rapidly regulate your nervous system, not necessarily to provide an in-the-moment transformative experience. If you’re even slightly familiar with breathwork, you probably think of hyperventilation style breathing, lying on the floor, and maybe even crying. That type of breathwork falls into the category of holotropic breathwork or other related styles and while it can be incredibly powerful depending on the outcome you’re looking for, functional breathing takes a totally different approach. This course, by all measures, is considered a 30 day intensive which means you will 100% notice it is a part of your life for the month of your enrollment. It is recommended that you stay approximately on schedule with the release of each session by taking it within 48 hours of its release, which is 3-4 days for 4 weeks. If you had to take both sessions over the weekend or over two consecutive days, that would be acceptable.
Each session is 60 to 75 minutes long, pre-recorded and sent directly to your inbox/uploaded to the learning portal and thus can be experienced at your convenience; however, it is NOT recommended that you split a session up into multiple sittings.
This course is uniquely designed to reduce your anxiety symptoms by regulating your nervous system which occurs, in part, by going through all exercises included in each session continuously. A portion of this course can be thought of like going to the gym for your nervous system. Obviously, you don’t take a two hour break halfway through your work out.
It is recommended that you maintain a regimen of 3 additional days per week practicing the exercises taught during the sessions (you’ll be engaged with the course 5 days per week total, including the sessions). This should take as little as 5 minutes per day depending on what you choose but could be extended for up to 15 minutes per day.
The greatest recommendation of all though is that you begin this journey with a sense of commitment and a willingness to see it through to completion.
You will continue to have access to all course materials after the course ends should you wish to revisit the materials in the future.
